My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kanoa – 8-9 month old red male with cropped ears, docked tail, AKC registered and pedigree. Kanoa has been neutered. Typical youthfulness, but has not had leash training so will be a handful until he gets the necessary leash/obedience training. Otherwise an energetic and happy boy who loves to run.

Kanoa tends to not get along with male dogs, so we do not recommend that he go to a home with other males, and possibly as a single dog home. He didn't get along with a geriatric male chihuahua, small dogs may not work. An experienced owner would be best for Kanoa.

He came to us from the owner who adopter him as a puppy, it was a family of 2 young teen girls, and a 6 year old boy. Kids were not interested in him once the novelty of having a puppy wore off, and mother is active duty military, and expects to be deployed. So, the decision was made to give him to us. Adoption for Kanoa is $500.
