Katie von Knoxville's Story...
Katie von Knoxville is an adorable, spunky 9 month old German Shepherd. You can tell by her pictures that she is just waiting to learn new things. This medium-size girl already knows her basic commands and is housetrained. Playing fetch is Katie's game of choice; she loves to catch a bouncing ball. She is really good with people but needs some work in socializing with other dogs, and definitely no cats for this young miss. Once you fall in love with Katie, you can take her to a free, one-hour group obedience class with professional trainer, Tim Williams.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katie von Knoxville, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
