Milo's Story...
Please contact Michele (miloscats@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.

This stunning, sweet, goofy and loving orange boy was rescued the day he was to have surgery to amputate his back leg at a local shelter.

Milo was brought in as a stray after being hit by a car. He had a broken femur head and the shelter didn't have the funds or resources to do the surgery needed to fix it properly. So Milo who won over all their hearts sat in the shelter for a month with nothing more than pain medications waiting for a decision to be made.

We at Milo's found out about Milo a day before the shelter (who just couldn't kill him because he's so special) was to amputate the back leg. There was a list of rescues who wanted him but only AFTER he'd had the amputation. So Milo's Sanctuary stepped in, rescued him and got him to a great surgeon who did the surgery and voila the leg is doing great!! We couldn't just stand by & watch a darling 1 year old boy lose his leg because no one had the resources to save it.

Now Milo is all better and ready to go to his forever home. He gets along great with other cats, is SUPER playful, attentive and as most orange tabbies a little goofy too. Please email his foster mom at miloscats@gmail.com to make arrangements to meet his lucky and amazing boy and loose your heart to a handsome ginger!

About Milo's Sanctuary, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Milo's Sanctuary & Special Needs Cat Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) and was founded on the belief that all cats deserve a second chance at life, especially those that have physical disabilities, are seniors, have a terminal illness or have been abused or injured and need someone to care for love and understand them.

We foster in our homes and have a Lifetime Care Program for the cats that cannot be rehomed. Our promise to them is that when we rescue them they will have a safe and loving environment to spend the rest of their lives in. They receive all the medical care and anything else that they may require to have the best quality of life we can give them for as long as we can. We are always desperatley in need of sponsors for our special needs angels. Visit our website to find out how you can become a sponsor and help to save a life!

Our dream is to someday have a sanctuary where the unwanted cats, the ferals, the seniors and the special needs ones will have a safe home to spend the rest of their lives.

We rely solely on donations to continue our mission to help special needs cats and kittens that would otherwise die abandoned in the shelter or in the street. Even $1.00 makes a difference and EVERY cent donated goes directly to the care of these beautiful souls. All donations are tax deductible.

Thank you!
