Ginger's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ginger's Story...
Ginger, Husky/Akita ("Huskita"), was surrendered to the shelter in Lincolnton, NC because her owners did not want the puppies! Ginger is approximately 5 years old, spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

She would be happy in a home with the right male dog or as an only pup. She is GREAT with children and has lived with cats. She enjoys going for runs with people, on a leash of course, and would LOVE an active family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Virginia Beach Husky/Akita dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Akita for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Husky/Akita dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Akita breeders who help with Husky/Akita rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
