Noah is an 8-10 month old Shepherd/Labrador mix puppy who currently weighs about 40 lbs. He was rescued from the Devore Animal Shelter and has a happy, loving, Labrador personality. He is a sweet, but somewhat rambunctious puppy in his play style with other dogs, but has been well behaved in the house. He is excited to play with the larger dogs, but has learned to respect other dogs who do not want to play with him. He is fine with children, in that he shows no sign of an aggressive temperament. He is pretty solid in his potty training, but potty reinforcement is needed in any new environment. Noah is crate-trained and crates well when he (intermittently) needs to be crated, but as of late has earned the privilege to sleep outside of the crate during the night on a pet bed near the humans. He was taught to sit in just a few minutes, so he is definitely smart. He is friendly and sweet and thinks he is a lap dog in spite of his size.

Noah is not a barker per se, but like most dogs, will bark to alert. He could be an only dog in the home, as long as folks are not gone for long durations, or partnered up with another friendly dog such as himself. He definitely likes to play with other canines, so a home where the dogs can play with one another would be ideal. Noah enjoys toys. He rides quietly in the car, but needs practice walking on the leash as well as ignoring other dogs and distractions while doing that. All in all, Noah is a friendly, affectionate pup that would make a great pet for most any family who will continue with his education in his formative years and wants a dog who will be considered part of the family.

Noah is neutered, de-wormed, vaccinated including rabies, and micro-chipped. If you are interested in Noah, please contact Angel’s Heart Dog Rescue at: adopt@angelsheartdogrescue.com.
