Meet Butch, the senior Shih tzu. Butch is estimated to be about 8 y/o and in HORRIBLE condition when first brought into the pound. The day after intake he just laid in his kennel and didn’t move. His head barely lifted off the cage bottom. After some canned food and puppy food Butch was up moving around and was smothering anyone who had a spare minute to visit him, with love. The day before his stray hold was up, a lady came in and identified him as her dog who had been missing for over a year. She soon left and never returned. So, again, Butch just sat there waiting on her to come back. Butch deserves to live out his days. He deserves a second chance! Please help Butch find his furever home. We rescued him from the shelter and he is now safe.
Butch's eyes don't create tears so he needs drops in his eyes in the morning & evening. The drops are not very expensive but he will need them for the rest of his life. Please don't let this small issue keep you from adopting sweet Butch.
