Emmy's Story...
Emmy is brown with a beautiful little white stripe near her heart. She is a talker-like her Mama Mary. She also LOVES to play with tennis balls and fetch. Emmy is the fastest in her litter, despite her tiny little feet. She would make a loving addition to most any family. Her mom, Mary, is a medium sized dachshund mix, but we are not sure what her dad was. What we do know is this sweet pup deserves a wonderful FORever home. Puppies are a lot of work - so please be sure you've taken the time to educate yourself on the work involved with adding a puppy to your home.

About Our Rescue Group...
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs that are in danger of euthanasia. Rural Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee shelters have a constant overflow of dogs, little funding, and limited space. Once the dogs arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable dogs and adopt them out to loving families. Although our priorities are the retriever breeds, we are not limiting ourselves to retrievers because we know that there are many great dogs that need our help. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs from euthanasia.
