Tony's Story...
FOSTER OR PERMANENT HOME NEEDED Tony is a neutered male Chocolate Lab / Pit Bull mix. He was found starved, running the streets of NY. He has been boarding in Rockville, MD the last 3 months patiently waiting for a foster or permanent home. He has put on about 20 lbs, ...currently weighs 70 lbs and looks great. He is good with other dogs, housebroken, crate trained, working on basic obedience and learning quickly, already doing some off lead work. He gets a little too excited about cats, but just wants to play with them. Is showing a little ball or tug/toy drive, will chase if thrown, but doesn't know what to do with it. Has great food ... (Read More)drive. He is current on shots and ready to join a family of his own. He loves people and attention. He would make a great active companion as well as would love to cuddle watching football.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tony, a Arnold Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Arnold, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Arnold.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arnold already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arnold breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arnold paves the way for another one to be saved.
