My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rruff! I'm Jack! (FKA Jackson) and I am here to become your new loving pet! I am a stunningly awesome one year old American Staffordshire Terrier weighing in at 55 pounds. Not all the pictures show this, but my gorgeous light tan brindle fur is so soft to the touch that you'll mistake me for a teddy bear. Go ahead, pet me, and see for yourself!

I am very sweet and easy with people and just a big mush. I listen very well as I am eager to please. You wouldn't believe it, but three weeks ago, I didn't know a single command. Now, I can sit, lay and heel like a pro. I am even so good at giving paw that I try to do it before I am even asked.

Unfortunately, sometimes I have to stay home alone allllll day long, so I just lay on my pillow and wait for the door to open so I can greet whoever comes in with my tail wagging and a huge smile on my face! I am completely house-trained and not destuctive (wouldn't even dare doing something like that) to the point where my foster dad doesn't have to put me in a cage!

I am great with other dogs despite how big or small. One time, a little Chihuahua tried to bite me on my legs in the park as he got away from his dad, I ran from that little dog without even a single growl! Everyone laughed at me so I guess that’s a good thing and I know the owner of the Chihuahua was happy that I'm such a mush who simply wants to play. My foster dad seemed very proud of me and kept saying "Good Boy, Jack!" Hey, I'm a lover and just want to play with other dogs and even cats. Heck, I love all animals!

My foster dad is also learning me not to jump when I am excited. I'm trying really hard to not get too excited, but hey, I'm just a young pup who just loves to meet new people, especially when I go on nice long walks.

I am also neutered and I'm up to date on all my shots.
