My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It was grey and rainy when Muppet came to the shelter, sad and dismal not unlike the little man himself that day. Filthy and badly matted, walking was difficult for him as his legs were bound by his tangled fur. A tousled black head and ears sat perched atop the chaos of his coat, which was the hue that modeling clay takes when all the colors are recklessly mixed. But bright black eyes shone through suggesting a suffering but gentle soul within. A fancy clip and spritz was not an option for little Muppet, so he gracefully and gratefully surrendered to a total body shave and shampoo, which magically transformed him from street urchin to poodle - a white poodle with black spots. Muppet is in a loving foster home where he spends much of his time relaxing on his dog bed and learning to be a part of a family. He has humans, dogs and cats in his social circle and does well interacting with all. He is between 1 and 2 years old - long past his wild puppy days, and has a mellow and subdued personality. This gentle soul will be an excellent companion. Give him a home and Muppet will give you his heart. Muppet is available for adoption with Friends of the Animals, Baton Rouge, LA.
