Tweak's Story...
(Posted on behalf of Project Pet Rescue)

When Tweak was first brought to Queen West Animal Hospital, she was thought to be feral, and was to be spayed and released. After a day in hospital, they discovered her to be a lovely, friendly cat and decided to welcome her into the QWAH adoption program (with the assistance of Project Pet Rescue) to find her the home she deserves.

Tweak is a beautiful snow white girl, approximately 7 months old. She is very friendly, affectionate and loving. She gets along with other cats and would probably be fine with a cat friendly gentle dog. Tweak is spayed, vaccinated and litter trained.

The adopters are welcome to ask any questions. We can then arrange a meet & greet to make sure that everyone is happy! Our adoption fees do vary but always include 1st vaccinations, deworming and a vet check for our kittens and adult cats will always be either spayed or neutered, have up to date vaccines and will have been examined by a vet. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tweak, a Toronto Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
