Monqui's Story...
Hi, my name is Monqui (pronounced Monkey) and I am the cutest little thing you have ever laid eyes on. Look at this face...am I adorable or what? I am now in my new foster home and coming out of my shell. I am only one year old and a petite 5 pounds. I am a tiny cairn terrier mix who will melt your heart. I am a lap baby and will lay in your lap for hours. I am still a bit scared and wondering why I am in another strange place and can't go home. I am quiet, gentle and just a love bug. Please no small kids in the home and I would love it if you didn't work all day as I would be your constant companion. If you want a tiny girl ask for me, Monqui, on your application to www.breederadoptions.org. I will be waiting.

Love, Monqui #012913-1

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monqui, a Gilbert Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
