Meow! My name is Cinder
|Breed:||Domestic Shorthair||Color:||Black (All)||Age:||Adult|
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Cinder was found as a little stray, living outside a gas station along the busy Hwy. 102, along with his sister (who has since been adopted). A kind individual continued to go by the gas station and feed the kittens, hoping she would eventually be able to find someone to take the sweet kittens in. Everytime she went by, the kittens ran right up to her, without any fear. Finally the lady got in touch with SG4F, and we found room in a foster home. Born around September 2012, Cinder has grown up in that foster home. He's sweet natured and gentle, gets along well with other cats, and uses his litter box perfectly. In fact, he's an all-around great kitty cat! The only thing keeping him from getting adopted is that he is solid black, and solid black kitties are usually the last to be adopted from shelters. Well, we think that's just nuts. What's more beautiful than a miniature black panther gracing your home? So when that one special, incredibly intelligent and loving person comes along who chooses Cinder to be his or her forever love, Cinder's adoption fee is $75.00 in cash and a good vet reference is required.

Rescue Group Info...
We began as a TNR group in late 2001, but became a non-profit rescue group on January 14, 2002, with a 501 (c)(3) status. We rescue abandoned, stray, homeless cats throughout Pitt County, as well as many from Animal Control. We also do TNR for many cat colonies in and around Greenville, and provide for their daily feeding. We were instrumental in starting Pitt County's first low-cost spay/neuter clinic--Spay Today. We are an all volunteer organization, and all we do is simply for the love of cats.
