Buster Brown is a 2 year old male brown/tan Corgi mix. His son Burgler is about 10 months old and is all black. These 2 guys were running loose over at the Deer Valley trailer park. A family must have abandoned them quick awhile ago because they were a little tricky to catch. Originally we were just trying to help out with the spay/neuter of these guys and to release them back in the trailer park. After we had them in the house for a couple days awaiting surgery they were very happy to be inside and loved not having to scavenge for food. Buster Brown was the first out of his shell and almost immediately started wagging his tail and jumping into our arms. Burgler was a little slower about trusting us but as soon as he saw his dad getting all that attention he soon joined right in. These guys would love a chance at being great family members. They have done wonderful in their kennel and know that they have to potty outside. They are very highly motivated by food and have learned a lot since they came to the rescue. Both are doing great on leashes now and enjoy their walks. Burgler needs his dad Buster Brown to help him with confidence. If I take Buster out for a walk by himself Burgler shuts down and won’t stop crying for his daddy. These boys would love to go together to their new family and will still need to watched close by opening doors. Buster will come right back to you, but without Buster, Burgler will run you around trying to chase him. These poor homeless guys will need a little bit more work to really grasp the full meaning of wonderful family pet but they are well on their way. More information about Little Rascals Rescue
Rescue Group Info...
Little Rascals Rescue is a foster based 501c3 non profit animal rescue founded on the belief that a few caring people can make a difference in many animals lives. In Maricopa county alone 900 animals are euthanized a week. That number is way too high and through the effort of rescue groups like ourselves we believe we can make an impact on the lives of the many animals being euthanized daily. We live by the mantra 1 adopted and 2 saved, meaning every time someone adopts an animal from us we go pick up another off the euthanasia list, so thats 2 lives you save by adopting one animal. Our group is dedicated to saving the animals other rescue groups just can't save, mainly the medical and behavioral cases. That doesn't mean we won't have plenty of highly adoptable animals also.
Adoption day every Sunday at Petco I17 & Happy Valley 2501 W. Happy Valley from 11am-6pm. We always have dogs, cats and lots of kittens to meet. Come out and see who's personality suits your family best. Or visit our website at www.littlerascalsrescue.com for animals, stories, pictures, up coming events or just to see whats new.

Find the animal you like, well its time to meet them. Call the contact number on the bottom of the bio. Set up a meeting time and place, and see if the personality of the cat or the dog fits into your family. To adopt a animal you need to fill out our application. After we take a look at that its just a contract taking ownership of the animal. We have a 10 day full refund trial period to make sure your new family member fits with the whole family. After the 10 days, we will always take back the animal if you are no longer able to care for them for any reason.
