Holly is an affectionate, loving boxer mix. She was rescued from a high kill shelter and lives with her foster family, which includes humans, canines of various sizes and felines! Holly gets along great with everyone. She loves talking walks, loves when the fosters grandchildren visit. One of her favorite activities is swinging in the yard swing with her foster dad.
We don't know what Holly is mixed with, but her personality is ALL boxer! She is a loyal, playful and funny. She likes to stick her head in the foster family's koi pond and blow bubbles under the water. One of her favorite pastimes is sitting in the yard swing with her foster dad.
Holly is leash trained, house trained, crate trained and knows her basic commands. She rides well in a car and is polite to everyone wherever she goes.
Holly is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative, spayed and ready for her new home.
Holly currently weighs 66 pounds.
Rescue Group Info...
Saving The Animals Together (S.T.A.T.) is a group of animal lovers dedicated to networking and rescuing dogs and cats from our local high kill shelter, as well as animals that are in danger of being sent to a high kill facility. All of our dogs and cats are rescued in Tennessee. We invite you to help us save the lives of these pets on death row.
We are a foster based rescue and as such, we have no public facilities. Our fosters are all in Tennessee, therefore meeting your pet before adoption is not possible. However, we will provide accurate information about each animal. Because they are fostered in homes, we are able to assess their temperament. The fosters work on behavior, house training, socialization and provide the best individualized care.
Our adoption fee of $350 includes vetting, including spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichiosis test for all dogs (and treatment for any positive results),a microchip, and transport costs. (Adopter is responsible to register the chip and pay any registration fees). All of our adoptable pets are current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative. You will find our preliminary application on our website http://www.savingtheanimalstogether.org/#!adoptable-dogs-and-cats/c1yi2 Upon receiving your application a volunteer will contact you for a telephone interview and then our local volunteer will set up a home visit.
