Long John Silver's Story...
Hi there, my name is Long John Silver! I'm a very sweet boy and quite affectionate. I came in as an injured stray through Animal Control and came in with an injured back leg that is now being monitored. I am a great guy and hoping someone will come looking for me! If I am not reclaimed by 1/21/13, then I will be placed up for adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Long John Silver, a Waycross Labrador Retriever/Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Bulldog for sale in Waycross, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Bulldog dog from a breeder in Waycross.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waycross already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waycross breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Bulldog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waycross paves the way for another one to be saved.
