Bug is a playful and friendly girl. She is a beautiful dilute calico with lovely markings. She likes to snuggle under the covers at night. Bug has a sister named "June" who is also available for adoption. The two sisters look very similar and make quite an adorable pair! In the pictures, June is wearing the blue collar, and Bug is wearing the pink collar.

Bug has been spayed, is current on vaccines, has been de-wormed and flea treated, and also has been tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV viruses. We are estimating her birthday to be approximately March 2011. Her adoption fee is $85, or $140 for June and Bug together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bug, a Kansas City Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Kansas City, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Kansas City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kansas City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kansas City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kansas City paves the way for another one to be saved.
