Booth is a cute little guy who loves to play. He had been injured before he was brought to us, but now he runs and plays with all the other puppies.

About Our Shelter...
The Good Shepherd Humane Society has been in operation since 1974 as a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to caring for the homeless animals of Carroll County. Our 9 Board of Directors serve 2 year terms without compensation and are up for re-election every two years. We currently have about 350 Society members.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We are located just one mile east of Eureka Springs and are open to the public everyday except Wednesdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day from 12 Noon to 5 PM. We provide leashes for dogs and carrying boxes for cats as well as transition food for both dogs and cats.
Our Adoption Process...
Prospective adopters must meet certain criteria such as providing a suitable environment and ability to care for the animal. Adopters must enter into a contractual agreement that protects the animals interests. Adoption fees are Dogs: Puppies $85, all others $70. Cats: $50. All animals at shelter over 6 months are 1/2 the usual adoption fee. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter and all required immunizations. Please check back if you don't see what you are looking for as we get new ones just about everyday.

The Good Shepherd Animal Shelter provides a temporary home for the homeless companion animals of Carroll County, Arkansas while searching for permanent, caring homes. We also operate a reduced fee spay clinic for Carroll County residents.
