Hauns's Story...
Hi my name is Hauns and I am a handsome, well mannered lovable 3 1/2 year old Entelbucher Mountain Dog that is looking for my forever home. And you ask what is an Entlebucher Mountain Dog? The best looking breed on the planet! The Entlebucher breed was accepted as a breed by the AKC and the Westminster Kennel Club in Feb 2012. As you can see by my stunning markings I am a breed in the same family as the Swiss Mountain Dog (notice my stunning markings and coloring) and Bernese Mountain Dog. I am actually the smallest breed in the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog family who are in the herding dog class and are bred as cattle herding dogs whose job is to bring the dairy cows in from the pasture.

Paws 4 Humanity Inc rescued me from the Jax ACPS when a rescue alert was put up on me via email. I was brought into the Jax ACPS as a stray and my original family never came to take me back home. But you know what, since the day that Paws 4 Humanity Inc has rescued me I haven't looked back. My foster mom thinks I am the sweetest gentlest teddy bear on the planet and I love being with my foster family.

As for my personality I am a big love muffin and enjoy being with my humans. I can gently stand up on my hind legs and give great hugs. I weigh about 80 lbs but I am a gentle giant. I play and get along well with other dogs and am great around children. I am very well mannered in the house and am house trained, crate trained and obedience trained. I love going for my walks and cruising the neighborhood with my foster family.

I am now ready to be placed in my forever home so if you are interested in meeting the sweetest and handsomest looking Entelbucher Mountain Dog on the planet that gives the best hugs, then I am your man. Please contact Paws 4 Humanity Inc at 904 771-9516 or shoot an email request to paws4humanity@att.net to request adoption application which is the first step in their adoption process. Once your adoption application is approved you will then be able to meet me and discover for yourself just what a handsome, stunningly good looking and lovable guy that I really am. My charming personality, handsome good looks and well mannered personality and great hugs will undoubtedly pull at your heartstrings where you can't help but want to take me home forever! See you soon! Love and kisses - Hauns.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hauns, a Orange Park Entlebucher/Greater Swiss Mountain Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Entlebucher/Greater Swiss Mountain Dog for sale in Orange Park, or seeking a Entlebucher/Greater Swiss Mountain Dog dog from a breeder in Orange Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Entlebucher/Greater Swiss Mountain Dog breeders who help with Entlebucher/Greater Swiss Mountain Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orange Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
