1301-0515 Mama's Story...

Thank you for your interest in our adoptable animals.  If you would like more information about this pet, see the Shelter information below.   We would love to help you rescue a perfect pet!

Mama came to us in the middle of January. Somehow she was seperated from her pups and ended up a stray. She was still full of milk and very thin when she came into VBAC&AC. No owner has came to claim her. She is now putting on weight and looking for a family that will love her and keep her safe. She doesn't want to be used for her pups anymore. She wants to be the baby of the family herself this time around. Mama weighs about 55 pounds now and is estimated to be 3+ years old. She was so very happy to have some attention when I took her out to do her pictures. She played a little and ate all the snacks I pulled out of my bag while sitting pretty for each one. She is a strong girl on a leash and could use a bit of training to make walking he easier. She is a nice girl that seems to be good with adults and kids. She is probably housetrained. Mama doesn't seem to care for other dogs. Often times these breeder dogs will not be fond of other dogs. Sometimes it can be worked out, other times they need to be only dogs. Either way, she is a sweet girl that will steal the heart of the person that is lucky enough to give her a chance!! Mama is in transition waiting for a spot on the adoption floor. Please ask a caregiver to bring her out to meet you. Her ID# is 1301-0515.
