Spooner's Info...
| Breed: | Chihuahua/Dachshund Mix | Color: | Black - With White | Age: | Adult |
| Size: | Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less | Sex: | Female |
Spooner is a 5 year old unspayed female Chihuahua blend. Spooner is a little hesitant when you first meet her, but she warms up very quickly. She has a lot of energy and when she is excited her whole body wiggles with happiness. Spooner hasn't been taught a lot of manners, but she is food motivated and loves to please so she would be easy to train. She seems to get along with other dogs, but her behavior with cats is unknown. It appears she is housebroken since she does not mess her kennel, but we can't say for sure. Spooner is just a happy go lucky little girl who would love to have someone to call her own. She has plenty of love and kisses to offer and will give those freely to someone willing to give her a place in their family. UPDATE: Spooner is currently at a vet clinic and will be back at the shelter on Friday.
If you want to apply for Spooner click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Humane Society.Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.
