Mia's Story...
Mia is a very cute little Yorkie Terrier/Chinese Crested mix female who is about 2 years old. She was turned in to us, and we believe we know the “source” of many dogs likely related Mia that have passed through our Shelter in the last year, that being an irresponsible breeder located on the south edge of Austin. Regardless, Mia is very tiny – only weighs about 5 pounds and she’s also very sweet. Mia loves to be with her person but she’s also fine with other small dogs but we haven't tested her with a cat. It would be hard to imagine that would be a problem like always it kind of depends on the demeanor of your cat as well. She does a good job keeping her kennel clean but may not be perfectly housetrained. Any prospective home should plan on doing some housetraining with her. Her adoption fee will be $95 and we do require an adoption application be completed in full and submitted a minimum of 7 to 10 days prior to us releasing the dog from the Shelter for adoption. Our adoption application form can be e-mailed to you upon request.
