Radar's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Radar's Story...
Radar is a six year old neutered male pug with three legs. He was hit by a car and had his leg removed as a result. He also had a pelvic break and takes Glucosamine to help with his joints. He will probably need arthritis medication later in life so he needs someone dedicated to making sure he is comfortable as he gets older. Radar is housebroken. He does great with cats and other dogs. Radar is quite handsome and he fancies himself a “ladies man”.
Radar does well in a crate but enjoys sleeping right up next to someone. He doesn’t play with toys a lot but likes to sit beside someone or in someone’s lap. Radar is oozing personality.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Radar, a Owensboro Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Owensboro, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Owensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
