Hudson's Story...
Hudson is a 6 year old neutered male Cocker Spaniel/Poodle blend whose owner could no longer care for him. He will be available for adoption on February 6th after 6pm. It is reported that he is house trained, but because of a stressful living situation change he has been marking. He has lived with 2 small children with no issues. He enjoys a good ride in the car, and loves to play. His behavior with cats isn't known for sure, but he seems to get along with most other dogs.

If you want to apply for Hudson click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Humane Society.Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hudson, a Meridian Cocker Spaniel/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
