Princess Tea Pot's Story...
My name is Princess Tea Pot and I'm looking for a forever home.
I'm located in the deep south, way out in the country where the living is easy. My momma is a Chocolate Lab and her owner didn't want me nor my eight siblings. We were rescued the day before he was going to "get rid of us". I have been very healthy all of my short life. I absolutely love the dogs that I live with. The younger ones like to play and that is my favorite thing. I play so hard, I am sound asleep by 8 pm. I sleep in a bedroom with the lady that rescued me and her 4 dogs. I spend a lot of time outside during the day where I play with 2 of my favorite dogs, Georgia and Gretchen- they are also listed on this site. I love the people that I live with, I'm a little shy with new people until I get to know them. I use puppy pads in the house, most of the time I go outside with the big dogs and that works out real good for all of us.

Transport to New England can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
ARF started in 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and because of the shocking treatment we saw many animals in the Deep South endure we have stayed committed to helping animals in the states of Louisiana and Mississippi. Many of these wonderful animals would be killed in a shelter if not for our continued efforts.
Our Adoption Process...
Adoption donation: $425.00 for our adult dogs 9 mos to 5 years and $325.00 for those who are older than 5 years of age. Un-neutered puppies (not fixed because they are too young) are $425.00 and neutered puppies <9mos old are $475.00. The adoption donation helps reimburse us for the vetting required to keep our animals healthy and safe, and if age-appropriate, spayed and neutered. As we rescue from the Deep South your adoption donation also helps offset the costs associated with getting your new family member home. We do require you to fill out an application and provide a vet reference, and a home inspection may be requested. Every animal we adopt MUST be spayed/neutered and we reserve the right to request proof of this. Our adoption application is on our website at: www.animalrescuefront.org

Thanks for rescuing!

Please note - we will not adopt a puppy to anyone who is not willing and committed to ensuring they never reproduce. Spaying and neutering your pet contributes to efforts to reduce unwanted and homeless animals in the United States and your animal will be healthier. Our adoption fees are nonrefundable.

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
We are a nationwide animal rescue and disaster response non-profit with a particular focus in Massachusetts, Mississippi and Louisiana.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess Tea Pot, a Groton Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Groton, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
