Nina's Story...
Why Choose me?
As you can see, Nina is pregnant and will have her puppies soon. This is why she is only available to rescue. I know she has to be uncomfortable right now, but she was very patient and put up with having her picture taken. We wanted to make sure that she’s on the website and will hopefully be rescued. She’s a sweet girl, and nuzzled her head against the Animal Control administrator who was helping us. It was obvious that Nina has bonded with her and loved the attention. While she was a little scared of the camera and tucked her tail, she let us pet her and was such a good girl for us. Please save Nina. She deserves to have a better life than what she has had in the past!

RESCUE ONLY

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nina, a Athens Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Athens, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Athens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Athens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Athens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Athens paves the way for another one to be saved.
