Christian's Story...
If you are interested in viewing or adopting this kitty, please go to www.orphankittenrescue.com/adopt and fill out an application.

Christian was born outside to a feral mom. He was trapped and came to his foster's home to be tamed and to keep another foster kitty company. Anastasia's brother had died, leaving her alone with no other kittens to play with. He was scared but Anastasia was right by his side trying to get him to play with her, and after four days of her constantly bugging him, he walked out of the washroom, head held high, past four dogs, three adult cats and jumped on his foster mom's lap and started to purr. Thanks to Anastasia, he is no longer a scared cat but one of the most affectionate kittens we have ever met. He just moulds into your body and actually wraps his paws around your neck to snuggle. He also gives gentle little kisses to the end of your nose. Adopt Christian and you are guaranteed lots of love, purrs and fun!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Christian, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
