Willow's Story...
Poppy, Willow, Lily and Clover are a family of sweet, loving and playful, three-month-old, three-pound, Chihuahua puppies looking for a loving guardian. These puppies were born into a foster home where they have been lavished with an incredible amount of love, the best nutrition and socialization … The puppies are full of kisses and tail wags and are very affectionate. They are very active, curious and good with other dogs. Born on November 5, 2012, there are three males and one female in this litter. The foster mom loves them so much, she is adopting their wonderful mom who worked so hard raising her family. They are not yet house-broken or leash trained, so they will need families with the time, patience and love to raise a puppy properly. Their birth order goes from darkest to lightest … Poppy the darkest is the first boy born. Willow is the second born male. Lily is the lightest colored and is the only female. Clover is the last born and the lightest colored male. They are extremely healthy, de-wormed, up-to-date on age-appropriate-vaccines, and will be neutered/spayed and micro-chipped at 14-16 weeks of age. To meet and possibly adopt any of these magnificent puppies, please contact Gloria at or 773-907-0305. Their adoption fee of $200 each benefits the rescued dogs of Famous Fido’s Rescue and Adoption Alliance. They are being fostered in Chicago, Illinois.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a Chicago Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
