Gina's Info...

Breed: Hound (Unknown Type) Mix Color: Brown/Chocolate - With White Age: Young
Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) Sex: Female
Gina's Story...
Gina is a friendly girl who is full of joyful energy. She needs a home with a large, fenced in yard and a family with a flexible schedule, so that she doesn't have to spend a lot of time crated. Since she is such an energetic girl, we would recommend a home with older children or adults only. She would love to find a family who would take her on daily walks or runs, and would be willing to play with her regularly. She is making progress in a foster home, learning basic obedience and running and playing off some of her pent up energy from being in a shelter setting. She would make a great companion for an active family. Please contact Gina's foster mom at bbboardman@comcast .net for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gina, a New Bedford Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in New Bedford, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in New Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
