Roberta is the mom to all the little 8 wk old foxhound puppies. Roberta's pups were born in a rural shelter and the nice people there transported Mom and puppies to NJ so that Kathy the foster Mom could take care of them all. The pups are ready for adoption and Mom Roberta will be ready very shortly. She is a wonderful dog, very friendly, a terrific mom and is about 4 years old. She loves everyone and is enjoying her new life. If you are interested in meeting Roberta please send in an application for adoption which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org
In the pictures you see Roberta the mama in 2 different poses and then two of her ten pups!

Rescue Group Info...
We are the Burlington County Animal Alliance (BCAA)located in Central New Jersey. We are a non-profit organization 501(3)(c), all volunteer rescue that saves animals from our local shelter and surrounding areas of New Jersey that are in danger of being euthanized. We take them into our program, get them the necessary medical care they need and adopt them back out to loving forever homes. We have 60 volunteers, many that open their homes to foster the homeless animals, we do fundraisers to raise money so we can continue to save the dogs and cats in need. We run strictly on donations from our adoptions and people who support our work.BCAA adopts to families in New Jersey, parts of Southeastern Pennsylvania and parts of New York.
We have weekly adoption events at PetsMart every Saturday from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm at the Eastgate Square Shopping Center, Rt. 38, Moorestown, NJ and PetsMart, 62 Centerton Rd, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.
Our adoption process starts with the applicant filling out an adoption application for the pet they are interested in. When they have completed and submitted the application, the screening process is started, which consists of a vet check, phone interview and home visit. Once all the steps are completed, we determine, by our findings, if they are approved, and if so, then they are allowed to adopt from our organization. The final step is they must complete the adoption contract, along with the donation for the animal, which goes into our medical fund to defray their medical costs. All of our animals are spayed and neutered, up to date on all their shots, including rabies, they are parasite free and on heartworm preventative.
