NEKO's Story...
Neko is a 1 1/2 year old boy who is TERRIFIC!! However, when you first meet him, your first impression will probably not be a good one, Neko does not show well in the cage. He is the most playful, friendly and lovable boy around, all you have to do is give him a chance to meet you outside that cage of his. Neko loves to play ball, just look at his picture, he has all his balls around him waiting for you to play. Please give this HANDSOME and WONDERFUL guy a chance to have a loving home.

About Our Shelter...
The Gloucester County Animal Shelter functions as an impoundment/adoption facility which temporarily houses lost,stray,unwanted or abandoned pets for 24 municipalities until such time as they are reclaimed by their owner,or adopted by a new owner.The Shelter also provides a 24-hour emergency service for calls regarding animals that are sick,injured or posing an immediate threat to the public.We also have an offsite adoption centers at the PetSmart stores located in Mantua & Turnersville which house over 20 cats for adoption.We have a very dedicated staff and volunteer core and work very hard to see that these homeless pets are given a second chance and placed in a proper homes.Once adopted they are delivered to one of our veterinarians to be spayed and neutered prior to going into their new home to insure that the animal cannot reproduce and at this time we are at 100% compliance.
