Louie's Story...
Meet Louie, a pure black neutered male, 12 lbs, 1 year old who came in with his sister after being dumped in a night drop for another organization that has nothing to do with dogs. Being the great people they are they got Louie neutered and called CRSD. Louie is very sweet, walks well on a leash and is pretty dependent on his sister Lexi, but may do well getting a lot of attention from a new owner. Please check out our calendar of events on our website at www.rescueachi.com so you can come by and take a look at Louie and see if he would fit into your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a San Diego Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
