Mia's Story...
Mia is a gorgeous, medium to long hair lady with a very bushy tail that looks a bit like a luxury version of a Maine Coon. Mia is a very loving cat who loves to follow you around and jump in your lap or sit behind you in the chair while you work on the computer. She was a bit shy at first but comes out for loving and can snuggle down on your chest along with the resident lap cat with no jealouslies or growling. She gets along very well with other cats and I’ve never heard her growl or complain. She just turned 9 but is very healthy and has many loving years ahead of her.

Mia's best friend at her previous owners is Kisses, 8, a petite long hair gray tabby over white female, very affectionate and we would love if these two could find a home together, (we will offer an adoption fee discount and throw in some Friskies canned food), though this is not a requirement.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Bentonville Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Bentonville, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Bentonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bentonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bentonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bentonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
