Captain Jack's Info...
| Breed: | Chihuahua Mix | Color: | Black | Age: | Young |
| Size: | Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less | Sex: | Male |
FOSTER LOCATION: Kuna, ID
Captain Jack is a 1 year old Chihuahua Mix who is one more sad example of why NOT to give someone an animal for Christmas. After no longer able to live with the person who received him he was turned over to Fuzzy Pawz to find him a great home!
This adorable little boy is silly, playful, and loves to explore. He’s got a lot of energy and a lot of love to give.
Captain is very friendly, but he is still a puppy and likes to nibble when he plays, so a home with older kids would be better. While he is friendly, he will bark at people he doesn’t know that come into the home. After he gets to smell them he wants to play.
Captain gets along well with other dogs, but he is scared of cats. He won’t chase them, he just likes to bark and whine at them. Captain would probably do best in a home with other dogs to keep him company. I think he would be fine in a home with cats as well.
Captain is house trained but he is not familiar with basic commands, but he is very smart and picks up on things quickly, his foster family is working with him. He is fair on a leash.
We think Captain Jack is our very own diamond in the rough – he is a clean slate who is just waiting for someone to work with him and teach him to be all he can be!
Honestly, this handsome little man will steal your heart once you look into his sweet little eyes.
Captain Jack has been neutered, vaccinated and weighs 11.5 lbs
If you think you can offer Captain the home he deserves and you can give him a forever home, please go to http://www.fuzzypawzrescue.com/adoptionapplication.htm
There is a $40 adoption fee for Captain plus the reduced cost of his neuter/vaccinations.
Rescue Group Info...
We are a group of volunteers whose mission is to rescue and re-home abandoned, stray and neglected dogs throughout Southern Idaho. We work with many shelters and pounds that often find themselves with no room to spare.
Whenever possible we also assist dogs who, because of extenuating circumstances, are unable to remain in their homes with their owners.
We do not have a facility but depend on the use of foster homes to provide loving temporary homes for the dogs we save. You can meet each pet through it's contact information on it's posting.
