Cletus's Story...
Cletus was pulled from a local kill shelter after he spent the last 3 months of his life there. He is so loving and wants to have a yard to play in. He may even do some hunting for you as he seemed to love walking in the woods tracking different scents he came across. He is maybe 2 years old and still has a lot of life left in him to live with a new family. It was even hard to get him to be still for a photo. Cletus is neutered and has all of his shots up to date. He is also heartworm negative and on preventative.

An adoption donation of $75 is requested to help with vet costs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cletus, a Crocker Harrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Harrier for sale in Crocker, or seeking a Harrier dog from a breeder in Crocker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Crocker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Crocker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Harrier breeders who help with Harrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Crocker paves the way for another one to be saved.
