Jessie's Story...
Jessie is a darling little love that looks like a black lab with chopped off legs. His momma was a Petit Bassett Griffon Vendeen and his daddy was a Chocolate Lab, he is a wonderful combination of them both. He is full grown at 41 pounds at about 1 1/2 years old. Jessie has a look in his face that just screams for someone to love him. Pictures just don't do him justice, you must really see this handsome fellow in person. He is neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and on prevention as well as flea and tick preventative.

Please call his foster home at 573-317-4665 or send an email to lovingpawsadoptioncenter@gmail.com to learn how to make Jessie a new member of your family.

An adoption donation of $75 will help offset his vet costs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jessie, a Crocker Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen/Labrador Retriever for sale in Crocker, or seeking a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Crocker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Crocker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Crocker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Crocker paves the way for another one to be saved.
