Benjamin Urgent's Story...
Benjamin is super, super sweet but quite shy and timid. He needs to learn to trust again and can only do that in his own, safe home. This sweet boy just needs a second chance to blossom.

We are looking for a great foster, or better yet, a wonderful home.

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations range from $150-$250. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benjamin Urgent, a San Diego Chow Chow/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Golden Retriever for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chow Chow/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Chow Chow/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
