Teagan's Story...
Adorable alert!!! Teagan is soooooo adorable! Our tiny little girl is so fun, peppy and loving. Since she is small if she's standing near you, she'll just lean up against your leg, patiently waiting for you to lean down and pet her or pick her up!

She loves other dogs, plays well with other dogs and gains a lot of confidence with them around. As such, Teagan is looking for a home with another young, small canine friend that she can romp with, snuggle with and learn from. Teagan is a fast learner and has already learned so much while with us. She now walks great on the leash and is not afraid of strangers, cars, etc. Her bubbly personality is emerging and believe it or not but it makes her even cuter!

Teagan has a HUGE heart and is happy to share it with anyone that engages with her. She has so many endearing habits, like tilting her head, leaning on your leg and snuggling into you. It's almost as if she melts into you! Teagan has so much to offer. She's a real gem of a dog!

She is looking for a loving home with daily walks, a canine friend and lots of daily snuggle time. She will shower you with love and kisses all the days of her life. If you think you have what our precious girl is looking for, please complete an application for her today - www.azrescue.org.

Teagan weighed 9.2lbs when we saved her from the kill list.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teagan, a Phoenix Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
