Sweetpea DECLAWED's Story...
Sweet Pea was surrendered by her longtime owner due to extremely unfortunate life changes. She’s alert, healthy, friendly, and so beautiful. She loves to be held and snuggled - she's a wonderful companion. Her front paws are declawed and she has been well cared for all her life. She would probably be great with smaller children due to her sweet, gentle nature. Miss Kitty has lovely big green eyes and long, fluffy fur. She's a mature cat, approximately twelve years old, and very adaptable. She'll settle in to your home easily and be very grateful. She wants to be your best cat friend ever!! Sweetpea is fostered in Huntsville, AL. To meet her, please email INFO@FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweetpea DECLAWED, a Huntsville Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
