Oscar's Story...
Hi, my name is Oscar and I am male Pomeranian mix and I am the most adorable, 5.1 pound boy you will ever see. I got to my new foster home and I was greeted by 13 other dogs and my tail wagged faster and faster with each new friend that I made. I am 13 years old but I run and play with the rest of the dogs and my foster mom says I act like a 5-6 year old dog. I am happy all the time and my tail never stops wagging. I eat soft food as I only have 2 teeth left. I went to the doggy spa yesterday and I look like a million bucks. I have no vision issues and I love everyone I meet. I slept with my foster parents and all their furry kids and I loved every minute of it. If you want a great companion dog who is not needy, doesn't know a stranger and loves other dogs, I am your guy.

Love, Oscar. 013013-1

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Gilbert Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
