Duke's Story...
Duke comes to our rescue as a owner surrender out of Orange County California. He is the ultimate family dog, house trained and very mellow. He was brought to the shelter and was very scared and confused not knowing why he was being let go and turned in. We have since brought him to Arizona and are trying to find him the home he spend the rest of his life enjoying again. Please help save this poor boy, and make him understand he can be loved again He has no health issues and ready when you are....

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Scottsdale Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
