Minnie is a sweet senior kitty who is being fostered through The Philly Pack Pet Shop. She is a mellow girl gets along well with dogs. For a while there was a rabbit at the pet shop and she was fine with the rabbit as well. Minnie is outgoing, social and affectionate. She loves everybody! As her foster home says, 'She loves petting, lap sitting, and food...in that order.'
Minnie was severely underweight when she came to City Kitties. Since being fostered at The Philly Pack Pet Shop, she has put on some much needed weight, but she's still a skinny minnie due to a thyroid condition. Her thyroid condition is managed through daily medication, which Minnie eats easily when it is mixed with her food. Minnie can eat as much as she wants and never has to worry about getting fat! What a lucky lady!
It's easy to visit Minnie by stopping by the pet shop at 2315 Grey's Ferry Avenue. You'll have to ask to see her though, as she is not kept out in the retail area. This is because she is so friendly that she'll run up to greet customers and many times customers come in with large dogs that might not be cat friendly.

About City Kitties' Veterinary Care: We provide high quality veterinary care for our foster cats and kittens. Each animal is spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, and receives age-appropriate vaccinations (FVRCP and rabies), and flea/parasite treatment as needed. Since they live in foster homes, you can see our adoptable animals in a familiar, stress-free environment, and their foster parents can tell you all about their personalities. If you have questions a week, a month, or even a year after adoption, we're available for guidance and support.
How to Adopt from City Kitties: Our adoptable animals are housed in private foster homes. The first step in meeting an adoptable animal is to fill out an adoption application. To ensure a lifelong match between you and your new pet, our adoption process involves an application, reference check, and a visit to your home at the time of adoption. Our adoption fee is $85 to help subsidize the cost of veterinary care. You can read more about the adoption process and fill out an application on our website, www.citykitties.org.
