I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with cats.
Bessie is a very sweet and affectionate 1 year old, tortie/brown tabby mix. She is spayed, litter box trained, up to date on her shots, and is FIV and FeLV negative. This little girl's time was up at the local animal control shelter but one of the staff, seeing what a loving pet she was, put out a call for help to area rescue groups.
Shortly after coming to her foster home, she was taken to the vet when a lump on her head was noticed. The doctor discovered a bb pellet that had to be removed surgically. Bessie is recovering quite well from the surgery and despite what has obviously been a traumatic life for her so far, she is very friendly and affectionate and thrives on attention. In fact, she often stands on her hind legs when she wants to be petted.
Bessie can be a bit shy, especially around new people or cats, and would do best in a home without small children. She sleeps on the bed and after being in the shelter, has made herself right at home in her foster mom's house.
Bessie is a wonderful, sweet pet, who is eagerly awaiting her forever home. If you have any questions, you may reach her foster at 410-726-0908 (Kate)
