My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ikiru (ee-kee-doo), or Kiru for short, is a 3 year old pure bred Red male Shiba Inu that our rescue took in after his previous owners had several incidents with him snapping at children and lastly at a female stranger that came up behind him in his home wearing a ski mask and picked him up and he was startled and turned around and snapped at her. Ikiru was scheduled to be euthanized if we were not able to take him in so he is a very lucky pup. His name in fact means, "to live or exist; to come to life or to be safe", in Japanese.

So far Kiru is doing great in rescue, knows several commands from previous training, does well in his crate, does well with other calm dogs, and loves scratches and pets from any adult he meets. No kids for this guy, because of his incidents with children in his past life, but in his defense, he's also had kids sadly throw rocks at him according to his previous owners so we don't really blame him for not liking children.

Kiru's adoption fee is $350.00. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for distemper and rabies vaccinations and will come with a professional 6 week training course.
