My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gidget...an 8 year old spayed female Rat Terrier.   She was taken to the vet by her former owners to have her euthanized because they did not want to continue to treat her bladder stones.  The vet asked that she be signed over to them and contacted Swampy Paws for help.  Gidget is such a sweet little girl and wants nothing more than to be a lap baby.  She was not raised in a home with other pets or children therefore is not good with either.  She would be wonderful for a retired couple or empty nesters.   Gidget does need to remain on a special dog food to control her bladder stones. 

She is heartworm negative and on prevention and fully vaccinated. 

Her adoption fee is $150 which includes all vaccinations (including Rabies), dewormer, flea prevention/heartworm prevention, heartworm test, vet check and spay.

 

A fenced yard and home visit are REQUIRED to adopt.
