"Hello, everyone! My name is JESSICA, and I'm a Beagle/ Chihuahua mix who is looking for a person or family who needs a purely loyal and loving dog. You won't believe how sweet and gentle I am. I'm young at just one year old, but I have a pretty mellow disposition, so I'm not overly energetic. I like to take walks, but I'd be just as happy to sit on your lap and relax. I sure do love those tummy rubs, too! My owner had to leave me at the shelter when he became too ill to care for me, so I'd sure love to find my new forever home just as soon as possible. I'm fairly small, so I'd make a great house dog. I get along nicely with other dogs, and I'd be a wonderful family pet in a home with older, considerate children (I'm a sensitive soul). I'm already house trained, too. I guess you'd say I'm an all-around great dog! Please come visit me at the El Cajon Animal Shelter, then we can get to know each other better in our lovely play yard.
