Chanel's Story...
Meow! My name is Chanel and I’m a spayed, domestic short-haired tabby. While a diva usually won’t reveal her age – I will tell you in the strictest confidence that I’m 7 years old. I am looking for a new forever home in a single cat household where I can receive lots of attention.

I am very smart, but very shy until I get to know you. While it may take some time for me to trust you, once I do, I will be a very sweet and affectionate little girl. I crave attention, and might even sleep on your legs or curl up in your arms like a baby just to be loved. I love to have my belly rubbed – sometimes I get so happy I even drool a little.

I would prefer to be around adults, not young children, and I never go outside. I am very healthy, but I can develop bladder crystals if I don’t stay on a special diet of wet and dry food that is formulated to prevent this from happening. If I come to live with you, I really should stay on this diet, please. Plus – I love the combination of wet food with a little crunch added in… next to belly rubs, meal time is the best time of the day!

I love my parents very much, but if you promise to love me as much as they do and promise to look after me and give me a safe and happy home, I’ll bring my own litter pan, litter, carrier, toys, blanket and a month’s supply of my food with me when I move in. They are very sad to see me go, but they know that this is the best thing for me… even though they will miss me terribly.

I’m looking forward to being the queen in my new home very soon.

About Our Rescue Group...
Urban Cat Relief (Formerly - Fostering Felines) is a network of loving and experienced foster homes. Our volunteers open up their heart and homes and allow our rescued cats and kittens the opportunity to be a part of the family until they are adopted. Our cat rescue is also involved in feral cat colonies. We practice T.N.R (Trap, Neuter & Return) to help control the population and prevent needless suffering. We promote spay/neuter and proper pet care.

Our Adoption Process...
Urban Cat Relief (Formerly - Fostering Felines) strives to make the best possible between our cats and adopters. Our foster homes are observant and spend quality time with the cats to learn what makes them the happiest. Our interview process begins with a phone call and we will ask about your home and family. The adopters are welcome to ask any questions. We can then arrange a meet & greet to make sure that everyone is happy! Our adoption fees do vary but always include 1st vaccinations, deworming and a vet check for our kittens and adult cats will always be either spayed or neutered, have up to date vaccines and will have been examined by a vet. We are up front about any health issues and provide health records.
