Cowboy's Story...
Howdy! My name is Cowboy and I've been searching high and low for my forever family. I won't bore you with the country song that was my life prior to becoming a Bella's Bully Buddy because I'm only looking towards my bright future! But I’ve got to tell you, I’m loving my present situation too! I'm currently living with my foster parents and two fur siblings. I really love to play with other pups, but I'm a pretty chill guy with my puppy days behind me. I hear I'm pretty handsome too. How do you like my cool eye-liner?? No reapplication necessary! ;)
Some of my favorite things include snuggling up with my people, peanut butter kongs, going for walks outside, napping on my back and giving smooches! Actually, the only thing I don't like are cats - I'm a dogs only kind of boy. Oh and I almost forgot! I love belly rubs and being massaged with my Zoom Groom… every cowboy deserves a little pampering!
I know it's impolite to brag but everyone says I'm really smart too! I enjoy training class and learning new things, but I’ll tell you a secret… I do what my foster mom asks because her affection and praise means the world to me!

Bella’s Bully Buddies is an all volunteer, non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue pit bull type dogs from abuse, neglect and abandonment. While the dogs are in our care, we provide excellent nutrition, training and enrichment, veterinary care and lots of love in our network of foster homes. Our goal is to find each and every one of them a forever home where they will be loved as a part of the family for the rest of their lives. Through everyday interactions and community events we work to educate the public about the loyal, intelligent and loving nature that make pit bull type dogs wonderful companions and family members.

The process includes and application with personal and veterinary references, a telephone interview, a meet and greet with the entire family and a home visit.
