Timmy's Info...

Timmy's Story...
Timmy was brought to us in November when his person had to go to a nursing home. Timmy is about 8 or 9 years old. In December Timmy got adopted to a wonderful home where 2 other felines lived. Sad to say Timmy could not adjust to the other felines. His new person tried everything. With a heavy heart Timmy was returned February 1st. We recommend that Timmy have a home where he is king of the home and the only animal. DOB 10-24-04. POSTED FEBRUARY 2, 2013 When Timmy came back to us this last time he had an infection in both eyes. Sadly one eye is now covered with a cataract. We are keeping the eye problem under control with L-lysine powder mixed with his food and will gladly give an adopter a generous supply of that. Because of his eye problems and his needing a home with no other animals we are waiving his adoption fees. We only ask that you love him his whole life. UPDATED MAY 10, 2013.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Timmy, a Geneseo Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Geneseo, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Geneseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Geneseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Geneseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Geneseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
