JoJo's Story...
Hi my name is JoJo! I was found by animal control and have been living in the shelter for over a year. I really want to go to my forever home! I am apx. a 1.5 years old (11/18/2013) up to date with shots, heartworm negative, and neutered. I am very sensible and smart, and love people and other dogs! I am not sure how I feel about cats since I am not around any at the shelter.
JoJo is extremely easy to handle and would make a great family pet. He has a thin face and beautiful long ears, so he might be part coonhound too. If you're looking for a quiet dog JoJo is your dog! JoJo is in Madison, Mississippi but transport to New England can be arranged through Animal Rescue Front. If you are interested in taking him into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http//www.animalrescuefront.org/Adoption-Form.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JoJo, a Groton Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Coonhound for sale in Groton, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Coonhound dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Coonhound breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
